Every now and then, somebody reads something I wrote and gets it right.

Yowsa, did Patsy get it write, uh right.

And in the meantime, despite what the doctor's are telling me, I feel good.  more

Ah yes, I'm afraid it's true. I haven't had the emotional energy or time to post a real update, but promise to shortly. For now we'll just say this: things ain't so good, which means I can look forward to all sorts of advice. Please, please don't. And if you don't believe me, maybe this bit from Reuters....  more

:: Another Myeloma Update- ::
 
Remember going to Kings Island or Six Flags Over Toledo or Focus Group World when you were growing up, and getting on those fantabulous roller coasters? You'd sit, and then these padded, upside-down "U"-shaped harnesses would descend over your head, over your shoulders and against your chest, holding you down tight in your seat, making sure that centrifugal force had a little help keeping you in your seats when the thing went upside down through the loops and corkscrews. The things offered a full-on mix of exhileration and nausea.

And it's way to much like the last 40 months of our lives--especially the last year.

Eventually, I'm going to sit down with the good and godly Steven Schwartz--our very kind and always gracious (even in defeat--Go Pistons!) friend who designed this website--and create a couple of new sections to these very unhollowed cyber-grounds. One of these eventual sections/compartments will be a page of "links"--all the websites out there in the "wide world" that I think you should drop by.

Until then, this will be the first of a few nods in the direction of a few favorites.  more
