Home Again? Well, let's get first things first: AHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!! OK, here's the deal. We drove into university city this morning for an appointment with my oncologist. Scheduled for 10, we met with her about 10:45; this was clearly a sign. Dr. Luger was both encouraged and encouraging to us, and while I needed a transfusion before we could go on with the transplant, there was no reason to believe that this day would be anything other than "full steam ahead." Except that at 2pm when I was checked into my room, they listened to my chest, ordered an exray, only later to be diagnosed with pneumonia. And so, to keep it nice and short: once again, the transplant is cancelled. Like I said: Ahhhhhggggg. E-mail Dwight | Back to Cancer Journal Index Page |
